Introductory Lesson

A first approach to the Protocol, starting with some breathing information, going through some warm ups and stretching exercises and trying the bridge to see how it feels and how it works for your body.

Level One

At the end of Level one, students will be able to go through different breathing techniques, such as diaphragmatic breathing, diaphragm and chest breathing and complete breath with pauses.

You will be able to warm up your body and to practice some bodyweight exercises together with breathing techniques that stretch your body and lungs.

You will be able to take and release the position on the bridge in a correct way, as well as learn to use the bridge in two different positions and understand how to manage the different distances from the body with the different arms positions and the different breathing techniques.
You will also learn some relaxation techniques.

Level Two

At the end of Level two, students will be able to create tables to increase their breath control and to decrease their number of breaths per minute, working all the time on stretching their backs and chests. In the meantime, you will improve all the skills you already learned in level one.

You will also learn some relaxation techniques.

Stage: The stage normally takes a couple of evenings or two half days to complete.

It is intended for groups and includes some of our breathing techniques and theory of the breath, as well as a section on the use of the bridge.

Becoming a BCS Protocol Instructor: This level gives you the possibility to teach the BCS Protocol. You will go through all the skills one by one, not only from the student point of view but above all learning how and what to teach, how to check on your students and how to progress in the course considering the goals you want to achieve.
